ESD Resin

High-performance ESD resin, providing cost-effective solutions for industrial ESD-safe applications

ESD resin is a high-performance 3D printing material specifically designed for applications that require static-dissipative parts to repel dust and powder, to prevent sparks and explosions, and to protect sensitive electronics from static discharge. This material possesses not only outstanding mechanical properties (rigid and strong thermoplastic, e.g. PBT, POM), but also shows a stable anti-static property (105 – 108 Ohms/sq), which can effectively reduce the accumulation and release of static electricity, avoiding the electrostatic impact for industrial applications. This material can be widely used in fields such as electronics and aerospace, etc.

Printing Settings

  1. Shake or stir thoroughly before printing;
  2. Store in a dark place to prevent UV light exposure;
  3. Ensure sufficient resin remains for printing;
  4. Filter residues generated during the printing process;
  5. Avoid skin contact and wear protective gloves.
  6. For more printing information, please read Raise3D DF2 3D Printer User Manual.

Cleaning

ESD resin requires cleaning to achieve the desired surface effect. It is not necessary to remove the support structure from the printed part before cleaning. The printed part should be cleaned before post-curing until there are no solvent residues on the surface. For special structures or fine details, such as small holes, it is recommended to wash manually, then use compressed air or nitrogen to blow off the residual solvent on the surface, or leave the print to dry at room temperature for a short time until there is no solvent residue on the surface before post-curing.

For recommended washing parameters using Raise3D DF Wash, please refer to the following table:

Wash Time Wash Drying Time
Recommended washing parameters 5 min 10 min

Post-curing

After cleaning, ESD resin parts require post-curing to achieve optimal performance. Please refer to the post-curing parameters for Raise3D DF Cure in the table below.

UV Curing Time Heat Curing Time Heat Curing Temperature
Setting 1 20 min 0 min N/A
